Terms & Conditions 

Laundry Ladies Balclutha – Terms and Conditions

 

1. Service Overview

Laundry Ladies Balclutha offers laundry services including washing, drying, ironing and folding for residential and commercial customers. Services are available via pick-up and delivery or customer drop-off by appointment only. We only service Balclutha and surrounding areas at this stage.

 

2. Pickup and Delivery

* Pickup and delivery times must be pre-booked and confirmed. Balclutha, Kaitangata, Stirling, 

* Missed pickups without notice may incur a $5 rebooking fee.

* Customers must ensure laundry is ready in a secure, waterproof bag. We provide branded laundry bags available for purchase or use.

* Delivery will only be made once payment is received in full (unless on an approved account).

 

3. Turnaround Time

* Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours from pickup unless otherwise agreed.

* We aim to meet turnaround expectations, but delays may occur due to high demand or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., power outages, weather).

 

4. Payment Terms

* Payment is required prior to or upon delivery via bank transfer, cash, or online payment.

* Commercial customers may apply for a monthly account (subject to approval).

* Prices are subject to change and will be advertised in advance.

 

5. Garment Care & Liability

* All items are washed in bulk by temperature-appropriate settings unless specific instructions are provided at drop-off.

* Laundry Ladies Balclutha is not responsible for:

* Colour bleeding or shrinkage of garments not labelled correctly.

* Damage to items due to wear and tear, loose buttons, zippers, or embellishments

*Missing or lost/damaged laundry if not secured properly prior to pickup

6. Lost or Damaged Items

* Claims must be made within 24 hours of delivery.

* In the rare event of proven loss or damage, compensation will be limited to a maximum of 2x the service charge for the affected item.

* We do not accept responsibility for items left in pockets or unlisted items (e.g., headphones, coins, pens).

7. Stain Removal

* We do our best to remove stains but cannot guarantee removal of all stains.

* Please advise us of specific stains when booking so we can treat them appropriately.

 

 

 8. Service Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse service for:

* Excessively soiled laundry (e.g., mould, faeces, vomit).

* Items that pose a risk to our staff or equipment.

* Customers who breach these terms or act abusively toward staff.

 

9. Privacy Policy

Customer details are kept confidential and used only for service-related communications. We do not share your information with third parties.

10. Agreement

By booking a service with Laundry Ladies NZ, you agree to these terms and conditions. Terms are subject to change, and the latest version will always be available on our website or by request.
